POSITION:         Crew –Tracker (2 posts)
REPORTS TO:     Crew Scheduling Manager
DUTY STATION: DAR ES SALAAM
RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be reporting to Crew Scheduling manager - Precision Air Services Ltd
Please take note of your responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Efficient and economical crew utilization to ensure that the planned schedule is achieved

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
(a)         Monitor day to day crew movement and participation on daily mayfly preparation
(b)      Monitor daily crew hotel accommodation and reservations
(c)       Preparation and monitor of crew positioning tickets
(d)      Maintain crew records on flight and duty times, achieve roster, flight crew training records, license recurrence, medicals and validity of crew license
(e)      Coordination with TCAA on crew licence renewals and validation as per regulation.
(f)        Preparation of monthly crew allowances and claims
(g)      Establish and maintain proper communication channels for effective and well informed crew.
(h)      Monitor crew sickness, follow up and advise Crew Scheduling Superintendent
(i)        Track and monitor crew movement, position and schedules to ensure availability of adequate crew complement.
(j)        Ensure the roster is run as close as possible to the published roster to maintain Regulatory requirements.
(k)       Ensuring, in conjunction with Crew Administration Manager, satisfactory crew scheduling patterns and optimum utilization of all crew 
(l)        Communicate flight and other related information to crew and family and any other authorized parties at base and out of base in order to improve efficiency in information management.
(m)    Ensure that correct records of flight crew are maintained and updated in conformity with legal requirements
(n)      Ensure proper control of crew documents
(o)      Prepare and advice the crew movement to transport provider to ensure prompt pick- up and drop-off of crew
(p)      Report to the Crew Administration Manager on all crew scheduling matters and recommending any changes in crew scheduling policy which might be advantageous
(q)      Any other duty as assigned by supervisor


PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
·         Punctuality
·         Effective execution of duties and responsibility
·         Optimal crew utilization
·         Implementation of optimal crew numbers
·         Timely release of crew reports on weekly or monthly basis as required
·         Timely release of the crew roster
·         Timely update of publish roster whenever disruption occurs or planned crew activities are not achieved and re-plan.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
·         Educated to Diploma level or related field
·         At least 2 years work experience in a relevant field
·         Working knowledge of TCAR with emphasis on personnel licensing and operation of aircraft
·         Valid Flight Operation License issued by Authority
·         Excellent Computer skills
Must be proficiency in English Language
