flydubai celebrates its rapid expansion in East Africa with two inaugural flights to Tanzania.

Dubai-based flydubai’s inaugural flights to Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar touched down yesterday in Tanzania. The new routes further underline flydubai’s rapid expansion in Africa, which has seen the carrier’s network double to 12 destinations this year. flydubai entered the market in 2009 with flights to Djibouti, and in 2011 Addis Ababa became flydubai’s second East African destination. In 2014, flydubai added six new routes to the continent with the start of flights to Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda and three destinations in Tanzania. Mitsubishi Aircraft Unveils Japan’s First Passenger Jet.

Japan  displayed its first passenger jet after a delay of almost four years, with a helping hand from bullet-train specialists and a schedule to conduct first test flights next year. Mitsubishi Aircraft Corp. finally rolled out its flagship Mitsubishi Regional Jet   in Nagoya during a livestreamed event on October 18. The jet, which comes in 70- and 90-seat versions, was originally shown as a mockup at the Paris Air Show back in 2007. SAX-Tanzania to launch First Flights in time for Christmas

16 air hostesses, crew of Pakistan airline disappear in Canada

At least 16 air hostesses and cabin crew members of Pakistan's national carrier have disappeared in the last five months in Canada after going there on international flights. Four air hostesses of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) last month failed to show up for their return flights after disappearing from the hotel in which the flight crew members were staying, Ary News channel reported. The channel said that a spokesman of the PIA had confirmed that in the last five months air hostesses and women cabin crew members had slipped away after flying to Canada on PIA flights.
