Kuporomoka kwa thamani ya Shilingi ya Tanzania, athari kubwa kwa mashirika ya ndege ya kitanzania


Kushuka kwa thamani ya sarafu ya Tanzania ikilinganishwa na thamani ya dola ya Kimarekani ni miongoni mwa sababu kubwa zinazochangia kudumaa na kufa kwa mashirika au kampuni za ndege za hapa Tanzania.

Kwa mujibu wa uchunguzi uliofanywa na mtandao wa aviationtz, ambao umehusisha wataalamu wa sekta ya usafiri wa anga, imeonekana kuwa pamoja na sababu nyingine zikiwemo za uendeshaji mbaya wa mashirika, mtaji mdogo na pia ushindani mkubwa katika soko lenye wateja wachache, kushuka kwa thamani ya sarafu ya Tanzania ni sababu nyingine kubwa ya mashirika mengi hasa yale makubwa kutokufanya vyema katika biashara.

Athari ya shilingi inaonekana kutokana na ukweli kwamba mauzo ya tiketi au tozo za nauli kwa safari za ndani ya Tanzania hufanywa kwa kutumia shilingi. Kwa hiyo pato la makampuni ya ndege linakusanywa katika shilingi. 

Kwa upande wa matumizi na kulipia huduma mbalimbali mashirika haya hutakiwa kulipa kwa dola ya kimarekani au Euro. Matengenezo yote ya ndege na ununuzi wa vipuri hufanyika kwa dola, hakuna kifaa au kipuri hata kimoja cha ndege kinacho nunuliwa kwa kutumia malipo ya shilingi ya Tanzania. Mishahara ya marubani wa kigeni na mafundi wa kigeni hufanyika kwa dola. Na ikumbukwe kuwa marubani wengi na mafundi wengi katika haya mashirika wanatoka nje ya nchi kutokana na uhaba wa wataalamu wazawa. Pia kodi mbali mbali na gharama za vibali hulipwa kwa dola, yaani hata huduma kutoka Mamlaka ya usafiri wa anga Tanzania (TCAA) malipo yao ni kwa dola.


Kutokana na hali hiyo mashirika makubwa ya ndege hapa nchini kama vile Air Tanzania, Fastjet na Precision Air yamekuwa yakijiendesha kwa hasara kubwa. Takwimu zifuatazo zinaelezea hali halisi;

Kutokana na hali ilivyo, ili kuweza kupata faida inabidi kutoza nauli kubwa jambo ambalo kwa sasa linakuwa gumu kutokana na ushindani uliopo. Katika miaka ya nyuma ilikuwa rahisi kutoza nauli kubwa kwa kuwa ushindani ulikuwa mdogo na kwa njia hiyo pamoja na ushindani mdogo katika soko baadhi ya mashirika kama Precision Air yaliweza kupata faida.

Hivyo basi inabidi makampuni yaje na mbinu mbadala ya kuweza kupata faida kama vile kutumia ndege zenye matumizi madogo ya mafuta na pia zenye gharama ndogo katika matengenezo, kupunguza gharama nyingine za uendeshaji, pia kuongeza nguvu katika kuuza tiketi na kuhakikisha kila safari inakuwa na idadi ya abiria wanaojaza ndege au robo tatu ya ujazo wa ndege.
