AIR Tanzania Company Ltd (ATCL) has successfully attained IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration. The country's flag carrier has successful closed the IOSA audit to attain this certification approval. With this certification ATCL joins its regional peers on IOSA registry namely; Kenya Airways, Precision Air, RwandaAir and Ethiopian Airlines. The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) is the benchmark for global safety management in airlines. All IATA members are registered and must remain registered in order to maintain IATA membership. The advantage of having IOSA certification is to increase business since passengers build confidence and trust to be flying into safe hands. The certification is expected to boost ATCL business especially in the regional and international routes.
