AIR TANZANIA RESUMES FLIGHTS TO NAIROBI

  History in East Africa’s aviation is rewritten again as  Air Tanzania  (ATCL)   resumes   the Dar es Salaam  (DAR)  -Nairobi  (NBO)  direct flights . Passengers disembarking from the ATCL Airbus A220-300 at Jomo Kenyata International Airport in Nairobi. The Tanzanian national flag career has on 26 th  Nov 2021 returned to Nairobi skies since it last flew there in 2006.  The Airline will be flying twice a day from Dar to Nairobi with an Airbus A220-300   The Airbus A220-300 is a 132-seater aircraft with 12 business class seats and 120 economy class seats. The morning flight will leave Dar es Salaam at 5:50am to arrive in Nairobi at 6:45am. The second flight departs the Kenyan capital at 7:30am to arrive in Dar at 9am. The evening flight will see the airline depart Julius Nyerere International Airport at 8pm to arrive in Nairobi at 9pm. A new research study highlights how “Data Analytics” will help the airline industry to face the challenges and reopen its operations during this pandemic.  The pandemic has indeed changed the way how businesses work. TCAA nullifies all KQ permits for flights into the United Republic of Tanzania.

The Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) has "on a reciprocal basis” rescinded its approval granted to Kenya Airways to resume international flights to Tanzania. The retaliation is a reaction to Kenya’s omission of Tanzania from the list of 16 countries allowed to resume international flights into Kenya effective August 1, 2020, since the airports' shutdown in March when the coronavirus pandemic hit East Africa. The Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) has "on a reciprocal basis” rescinded its approval granted to Kenya Airways to resume international flights to Tanzania.
