Huko Bungeni mjini Dodoma, kamati ya kudumu ya Bunge ya hesabu za serikali (PAC), imewasilisha taarifa yake ya mwisho  katika Bunge la kumi. Miongoni mwa taarifa zilizowasilishwa ni taarifa maalumu kuhusu kampuni ya ndege ya Tanzania (ATCL). Ndege aina ya Airbus 320 iliyokuwa imekodiwa na ATCL kutoka kampuni ya  Wallis Trading Inc.  kwa Malipo ya USD 370,000 kila mwezi. Akiwasilisha taarifa hiyo, mwanyekiti wa kamati hiyo ndugu Zitto Kabwe alisema: "Mheshimiwa Spika, Kampuni ya Ndege ya Tanzania (ATCL) ilianzishwa mwezi Novemba 2002 baada ya Serikali kubinafsisha lililokuwa Shirika la Ndege la Tanzania (Air Tanzania Corporation, ATC); katika Shirika hilo, Shirika la Ndege la Afrika Kusini (SAA) lilinunua hisa asilimia 49 ndani ya ATC. Chines aviation firm makes Dar its Africa Aircraft technical base

A Chinese aviation company, AVIC International, which is eying a stake in Air Tanzania, has launched a technical support centre in Dar es Salaam. The China Oversea (Tanzania) Civil Aircraft Technical Support Centre aims at facilitating the Chinese civil aircraft fleet in Africa. The AVIC International Managing Director of Civil Aircraft Department, Dr Li Song Lin (left), briefs the Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Transport, Monica Mwamunyange (third right) on the company’s operations during the opening of the China Oversea (Tanzania) Civil Aircraft Technical Support Center in Tanzania in Dar es Salaam over the weekend. Air Seychelles launches flights to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

Air Seychelles Airbus A320-200 "Amirantes" at JNIA, Dar Es Salaam. Air Seychelles, the official airline of the Indian Ocean Tourist Island of Seychelles has on Tuesday launched its flights between Victoria, Seychelles and Dar es salaam, Tanzania. The inaugural flight was operated by the company’s new Airbus A320 dubbed as “Amirantes” in honour of a group of coral islands discovered in the Seychelles archipelago in the 16th century. The aircraft has a seating capacity of 120 seats in its economy class and 16 in business class. Flights will be twice a week. The flights between the two cities will be of two hours and twenty minutes flying time. Dar es salaam becomes a third destination in Air Seychelles’ Indian Ocean and African network, after Mauritius and Johannesburg in the Southern African region. TANAPA helicopter crashes in Dar Es Salaam, killing all 4 people on board.

Dar Es Salaam:  A helicopter  ( Robinson R-44 Raven II reg  5H-TWA)  owned and operated by Tanzania National Park Authority has crashed on saturday, killing all 4 people on board. The helicopter went down in  Kipunguni B Moshi Bar,Ukonga-Ilala Dar es Salaam. It was on  on approach to Dar Es Salaam International Airport (DAR/HTDA). The  helicopter  worth $500,000 , was recently donated to the Tanzanian government  by the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, to  help with anti-poaching operations. fastjet celebrates two years of flying Africa’s skies

fastjet, the low-cost pan-African airline, is celebrating two years of providing low-cost air travel across Africa on 29 November 2014. fastjet began commercial flight operations on 29 November 2012, flying passengers from Dar es Salaam to Kilimanjaro and Mwanza in Tanzania on its A319 aircraft.
